Directions for use

  1. Wash your hands before use It is important to have clean hands before using a pulse oximeter to prevent contamination and ensure accuracy.
  2. Place the pulse oximeter on your finger Choose a finger that is free from nail polish, dirt, or any obstruction. Place the pulse oximeter over the tip of the finger and press it gently until it fits snugly. The device should not be too tight as it may affect the blood circulation, but not too loose as it may cause inaccurate readings.
  3. Turn on the pulse oximeter Most pulse oximeters have a power button located on the side of the device. Press and hold the button until the screen lights up. Some devices may turn on automatically when you place your finger inside.
  4. Wait for the reading Once the device is on, it will start reading your SpO2 and pulse rate. Wait for a few seconds until the readings stabilize, and then take note of the numbers.
