Dr. Wolff’s Vagisan protective Ointment was specially developed for use in the external genital area. The ointment is especially gentle, distributes readily, and sticks to the skin effectively. Given its composition, which includes skin- friendly oils and waxes of vegetable origin, it forms a protective film that repels water while yet allowing the skin to “breathe” on the skin. Without allowing moisture to accumulate, this can shield the skin from aggravating factors and stop the external genital and anal area from becoming painful. Mineral oils and silicones are not present in Dr. Wolff’s Vagisan protective ointment.

Caprylic/ Capric triglyceride, cocoglycerides, Aqua, Octyldodecyl Myristate, Oleyl Erucate, Acacia decurrens/ jojoba/ sunflower seed cera/ polyglyceryl- 3 esters, Glyceryl stearate, Hydrogenated castor oil, Glyceryl dibehenate, Glyceryl behenate, Tribehenin, Benzyl alcohol, Butylene Glycol, Pentylene Glycol, Bisabolol, Hydroxyphenyl Propamidobenzoic acid, Tocopherol, Zingiber officinale root extract, Ascorbyl palmitate.
The ointment does not contain mineral oils, silicones and zinc oxide.
Warnings and precautions
- Dr Wolff’s Vagisan protective ointment should not be used immediately prior to sexual intercourse when using latex condoms, since the tear strength of latex may be impaired by the ointment.
- You should see your gynaecologist if symptoms like itchiness, burning, pain, or soreness last and don’t go away after using Dr. Wolff’s Vagisan preventive ointment.
- A slight oil leak at the tube neck is not a sign of a flaw; rather, it is a characteristic of the product brought on by the addition of the nourishing oils.
