Driclor is a solution that is used to treat excessive sweating or hyperhidrosis, a condition where the body produces more sweat than necessary to regulate the body temperature. Driclor is made up of the active ingredient aluminium chloride hexahydrate, which is a powerful antiperspirant that works by blocking the sweat glands in the skin. This helps to reduce the amount of sweat that is produced by the body, which in turn helps to alleviate the symptoms associated with hyperhidrosis.

Hyperhidrosis can affect different parts of the body, but Driclor is mainly used to treat excessive sweating of the armpits, hands, and feet. The condition can be a source of discomfort and embarrassment for many people, as it can lead to damp, sticky skin and unpleasant odours. The problem can also be exacerbated by stress and anxiety.

Before using Driclor, it is important to read the patient information leaflet carefully and to follow the instructions provided by your doctor or pharmacist. Driclor should not be used if you are allergic to aluminium chloride or any of the other ingredients in the solution. If you are breastfeeding, you should take special care to avoid getting Driclor on your breasts and wash it off before feeding your baby.

To use Driclor, you should apply a small amount of the solution to the affected area using a clean, dry cotton wool ball or pad. It is important to apply the solution at night, just before going to bed, as this allows it to work while you sleep. You should avoid applying Driclor to broken, irritated or recently shaved skin, and you should not use it on any other part of your body except for the areas specified by your doctor or pharmacist.

Driclor can cause some side effects, including skin irritation, itching, and redness. If you experience any of these symptoms, you should stop using Driclor immediately and consult your doctor or pharmacist. You should also avoid using other antiperspirants or deodorants while using Driclor, as they may interfere with its effectiveness.

Driclor is a powerful antiperspirant solution that can be used to treat excessive sweating of the armpits, hands, and feet.
