IMODIUM® Instants are the fastest dissolving tablets for on-the-go diarrhoea relief.

They’re specially designed to give quick relief in under one hour, when you’re on the go, as they dissolve instantly on your tongue, so you don’t need to take them with water.

Each Tablet contains 2mg Loperamide Hydrochloride and also contains Aspartame.

Side effects 

Imodium can have side effects, like all medicines, although these don’t affect everyone and most are usually mild.

Rare: (affects less than 1 in 1000 but 1 or more in 10,000 people)

  • Allergic reactions including unexplained shortness of breath, wheezing, passing out or swelling of face and throat.
  • Loss of consciousness or reduced level of consciousness (passing out, feeling faint or less alert), uncoordinated movements.

Uncommon: (affects less than 1 in 100 but 1 or more in 1,000 people)

  • Itchiness or hives
  • Stomach pain or swollen stomach.

Warnings and precautions

Keep out of sight and reach of children. Warning: Do not take more medicine than the label tells you to. Not recommended for children under 12 years.

  • This medicine may make you feel dizzy, sleepy or tired. You may feel less alert, feel faint or pass out. If you’re affected do not drive or use machines.

Private prescription medicines are sent by courier, tracked 24hr delivery, free of charge (all private prescription items have a minimum order value of £5.00). NHS prescription medicines are sent by courier, tracked 24hr delivery.
Normal delivery charges will apply for non-prescription items in the same basket.
