Cold Sore 5% w/w Cream is a smooth off-white cream for application to the lips and face. It contains aciclovir which belongs to a group of medicines called antivirals.
This cream is used for the treatment of cold sores (Herpes simplex virus infections); it slows the growth of the virus, and speeds the healing of cold sore blisters.

Directions for use
Apply a thin film of cream to the infected and surrounding skin areas five times daily at intervals of approximately 4 hours for five days. If the infection is not healed, you can continue the treatment for 5 more days. If your cold sore gets worse or is not healed within 10 days see your doctor.

- Do not use the cream in case of any sensitivity to any of the ingredients used on the treatment
- The treatment is safe for children, but in case of allergies to any its components seek medical advice before applying it on children
- Avoid contact with eyes
- Consult the doctor if you are pregnant or breast-feeding
