Ideal for those who have braces, bridges, or other dental appliances and are looking for a reliable way to keep them clean and fresh. The stiffened end of each Oral B Superfloss strand means that you can thread the floss between your teeth and around dental appliances quickly and easily, helping you to get a thorough clean every day.

Why do I need to floss?

Flossing is an essential part of your dental care routine, as it helps you to clean plaque and debris, such as leftover food, from between your teeth, under your gumline, and from other areas, your toothbrush can’t reach. Dental plaque is a sticky, colorless substance that’s full of bacteria that can harm your teeth if left without cleaning, so making sure to floss between your teeth is essential if you want to maintain healthy teeth.

What is tooth decay?

Tooth decay is what happens when plaque acid damages your teeth, which can happen when plaque build-up isn’t cleaned from your teeth regularly. When you’re suffering from tooth decay, you may notice the following symptoms:

  • Toothache, which can be sharp and occasional, or a constant dull ache
  • Sensitive teeth, especially when eating hot, cold, or sweet foods

Directions for use

  1. Take approximately 45cm of Oral-B Super Floss Mint and cut it to the desired length.
  2. Thread the floss under the wire or orthodontic appliance and bring the ends together so that you have a loop of floss.
  3. With the floss held taut, gently slide it up and down against the surface of each tooth and under the gumline.
  4. Use a fresh section of floss as you move from tooth to tooth.
  5. After cleaning between your teeth and under the appliance, use the stiffened end to thread the floss through the space between the teeth and the appliance.
  6. Be sure to clean both sides of every tooth and along the gumline.
  7. Use the floss at least once a day, preferably before brushing your teeth.
  8. Dispose of the used floss in a waste bin.
  9. Store Oral-B Super Floss Mint in a cool, dry place and keep it out of reach of children.
