Bonjela Junior Gel is formulated to relieve pain associated with mouth ulcers, including those caused by braces.
Bonjela Junior Gel contains Lidocaine Hydrochloride, a local anaesthetic to relieve pain, and Cetylpyridinium Chloride, an antiseptic which helps to prevent infections. Always read the label.

Sugar-Free

Banana Flavour

Suitable for children between 5 months and 16 years old (as well as adults and elderly). Not for use in teething infants.

Ingredients

Contains 0.5% w/w Lidocaine Hydrochloride and 0.025% w/w Cetylpyridinium Chloride as actives, Also contains Ethanol (Alcohol), See leaflet for further information.

Side effects 

Like all medicines, Bonjela junior gel can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Stop taking and contact your doctor if you experience the following side effects:

  • Bluish colouring of the skin, shortness of breath, headache, lack of energy.
  • Skin rash, itchy or irritated skin.

Warnings and precautions

  • Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
  • NOT SUITABLE FOR INFANTS UNDER 5 MONTHS.
  • WARNING: Do not use more medicine than the label tells you to. Do not use more than every 3 hours. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor or dentist. Bonjela Junior gel is not suitable for treatment of teething in children.
