Epaderm Ointment is a 3-in-1 emollient that can be used directly on the skin, in the bath or as a skin cleanser. Also, this product Epaderm ointment is a moisturiser made of emulsifying wax, liquid paraffin, and yellow soft paraffin. Lack of moisture in the stratum corneum, the outermost layer of skin cells, causes dry skin.
This layer loses it’s flexibility and becomes cracked, scaly, and even irritating when it is dehydrated. Epaderm makes an effort to restore moisture to the afflicted areas while also reducing discomfort and itching impulses.
Ingredients
Liquid Paraffin Ph.Eur.Cetomacrogol Emulsifying Wax BP (contains Cetostearyl Alcohol and Macrogol Cetostearyl Ether 22), Yellow Soft Paraffin BP.
Side effects
When used sparingly, no more than twice a day, Epaderm cream and ointment are generally well tolerated and very rarely cause negative effects. After applying the cream, if you notice any symptoms of an allergic response, such as burning, itching, or skin redness, stop using it and call your doctor.
Warnings and precautions
If your condition worsens or you experience any undesirable effects, stop using Epaderm Ointment and discuss with your doctor. Do not use Epaderm Ointment if you are sensitive to any of its ingredients. For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes. Do not use if the seal is broken. Do not use the product after the expiry date shown on the label. Keep away from naked flames. Keep out of reach of children.

Private prescription medicines are sent by courier, tracked 24hr delivery, free of charge (all private prescription items have a minimum order value of £5.00). NHS prescription medicines are sent by courier, tracked 24hr delivery.
