How it works?
Gaviscon Advance contains double the concentration of sodium alginate and forms a stronger, resilient raft over the stomach to prevent acid coming back up into the food pipe.

Each Advance Chewable Tablets Peppermint Flavour contains:

The active ingredients 250mg Sodium Alginate, 133.5mg Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate & 80mg Calcium Carbonate.

Caution before taking Gaviscon Advance Chewable Tablets Peppermint Flavour:

  • This treatment may be less effective if you have decreased the amounts of gastric acid produced in your stomach.
  • If symptoms persist after 7 days, please consult your doctor.
  • If you take too many tablets you may feel bloated.
  • It is unlikely to cause you any harm, but please consult your doctor or pharmacist.
  • Do not take if you know you are allergic to any of the ingredients as skin rashes and difficulty in breathing have been reported.
  • Consult your doctor if you experience these or any other side-effects.
  • Read the enclosed leaflet carefully before taking this product.
  • If you have phenylketonuria, note that the product is sweetened with aspartame, a source of phenylalanine. If you forget a dose, it is not necessary to double dose the next time, just carry on taking as before.
  • These tablets are sugar and gluten free. You can take this product if you are pregnant or breast feeding. As with all medicines, the treatment duration should be as limited as possible.
  • You should carefully read all product packaging and labels prior to use.

Standard Delivery

Our standard delivery charge is £3.90. We aim to deliver orders within 3-5 working days to the shipping address provided by you in your order if the shipping address is in the UK.  For orders being delivered outside mainland UK, this will be longer and we cannot give a guaranteed delivery time due to the differences between carriers. Delivery timescales are estimates only. If you do not receive your order within 14 days of us confirming your order has been sent you must notify us and we will investigate the non-delivery provided.

Next Day Delivery

£5.99 – Next working day (excluding Saturdays & Sundays) on orders placed before 4pm. Orders placed after 4pm will be delivered on the 2nd working day after the order is placed.

Prescriptions

Private prescription medicines are sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery free of charge (all private prescription items have a minimum order value of £5.00).
NHS prescription medicines are sent by Royal Mail Signed
Normal delivery charges will apply for non-prescription items in the same basket.

Returns

If you’re not completely satisfied with your order, you can return it within 28 days. We cannot accept the return of prescription medicines.
