Lanacane Original Cream provides fast relief for itching and irritation of the dry skin; everyday cuts, scrapes and skin chafes; external vaginal and anal itching; heat rash and nettle stings; non-poisonous insect bites and stings.

Soothing comfort

This cream forms a protective film over raw, inflamed tissue with a anaesthetic cooling action to soothe itching and irritation. It helps to stop the urge to scratch and gives prompt relief of dry skin.

Ingredients 

Active ingredients  -Benzocaine 3 % w/w.

The other ingredients are: Chlorothymol, diethylene glycol monoethyl ether, docusate sodium, perfume (contains citronellol, benzyl benzoate, geraniol, benzyl alcohol, citral, cinnamal, alcohol, linalool and d-limonene), glyverine, glycerol monostearate, isopropyl alcohol, stearic acid, sulfonated castor oil, trolamine, purified water, zinc oxide.

Side effects 

Lanacane Original Cream – On very rare occasions Lanacane can result in a skin reaction called sensitivity. This could become apparent by reddening of the skin, minor swelling, blistering, or through an intensification of the itch. In the unlikely event that you experience these symptoms, stop using Lanacane and consult your doctor for advice.

Warnings and precautions:

  • Do not use Lanacane for more than one week
  • Do not use Lanacane on large body areas
  • Do not use Lanacane on the eyes
  • Do not use Lanacane on children under 12 years of age
  • Do not use Lanacane in pregnancy without first consulting your doctor.
  • Do not use if you are sensitive to any of the ingredients. If this or any other side effect occurs, stop use of Lanacane and consult your doctor.
