Quinoderm is also available as an effective cleansing facewash for spot-prone skin, which is designed to be used just like soap. It has an antibacterial action and contains 0.15% chlorhexidine digluconate and 1.5% mytrimonium bromide. Its dual action cosmetic formula helps remove any excess facial oil, grease or dirt and leaves the skin clean, healthy and feeling refreshed. It is also antibacterial, targeting P. acnes (the bacteria responsible for the majority of acne cases) and other bacteria which can lead to spots.

The facewash is designed to be used both morning and night and penetrates deep into the skin. To apply, wet hands and face then gently massage a generous blob of facewash onto the face, paying particular attention to the nose, cheeks, chin and forehead. Rinse thoroughly to remove all traces of facewash.

Directions for use

  • Start by wetting your hands and face with warm water. This will help to open up your pores and prepare your skin for cleansing.
  • Choose a facewash that is suitable for your skin type. If you have oily skin, look for a facewash that is designed to control oil production. If you have dry skin, look for a facewash that is gentle and moisturizing.
  • Squeeze a generous amount of facewash into your palm. The amount you need will depend on the size of your face and the consistency of the facewash.
  • Use your fingertips to gently massage the facewash into your skin, using circular motions. Focus on your nose, cheeks, chin, and forehead, as these areas tend to be the most oily or prone to breakouts.
  • Be gentle and avoid scrubbing too hard, as this can damage your skin and cause irritation.
  • Take your time and enjoy the process. This can be a relaxing and refreshing part of your daily routine.
  • Once you have thoroughly massaged the facewash into your skin, rinse it off with warm water. Make sure to remove all traces of facewash, as any remaining product can clog your pores and lead to breakouts.
  • If you wear makeup or sunscreen, you may need to double cleanse to ensure that all traces of product are removed. Use a micellar water or oil cleanser first to remove makeup, followed by your regular facewash.
  • After rinsing off your facewash, gently pat your face dry with a clean towel. Avoid rubbing your face, as this can cause irritation and damage your skin.
