- The adhesive power of SEABOND is activated and strengthened by moisture in the mouth.
- Pastes weaken over time while SEABOND will maintain its hold over time.
- The difference with the new product is an extra layer of adhesive on the top of the seal.
- When the extra adhesive layer comes in contact with water or saliva, it is immediately activated to create instant hold.
- The seal then maintains a strong hold throughout the day as the adhesive is moistened by saliva in the mouth.
- The comfort is generated from the wafer thin fleece, and the cushioning effect of the adhesives which provides a soft seal against the gums.
Seabond Denture Fixative Seals are easy to use and help provide a strong, long-lasting hold for your dentures. Here are the steps to use:
- Clean and dry your dentures before applying the seal.
- Remove the paper backing from the seal by gently peeling it off.
- Moisten the seal with water.
- Apply the seal to your denture with the white side facing up and pink side facing down.
- Place the denture in your mouth and bite down gently but firmly for a few seconds to secure the seal.
- Adjust the seal if necessary by trimming any excess with scissors.
It is recommended to change the seal at least once a day for optimal performance. Seabond Denture Fixative Seals are not meant to be used for more than 24 hours at a time. If you experience any discomfort or irritation, discontinue use and consult your dentist.
