Solpadeine Max Soluble Tablets – 24 Tablets is a pharmacy-only pain relief medicine formulated as effervescent soluble tablets. Each tablet contains three active ingredients:
Paracetamol 500 mg – a pain reliever and fever reducer
Codeine phosphate hemihydrate 12.8 mg – a mild opioid analgesic
Caffeine 30 mg – enhances the effectiveness of paracetamol
This medicine is used for the short-term relief of acute moderate pain that has not responded adequately to other painkillers such as paracetamol or ibuprofen alone. It is suitable for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over. The soluble tablets are dissolved in water before use to allow easier ingestion and fast action.
Indications include headache, migraine, dental pain, period pain, backache, arthritic and rheumatic pain, strains and sprains, and sciatica when other pain relief options have been insufficient.

Directions (How to Use)
Who can take this medicine:
Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over
Not suitable for children under 12 years
How to take:
Dissolve 2 tablets in a glass of water and drink every 4 to 6 hours as needed for pain relief.
Do not take tablets more frequently than every 4 hours.
Maximum daily dose: 8 tablets in any 24-hour period.
Duration of use:
Only take this medicine for a maximum of 3 days at a time.
If symptoms continue or worsen beyond 3 days, consult a doctor or pharmacist for further advice.
Always follow the dosing instructions provided and do not exceed the recommended dose.
