The red Tiger Balm (30g pot) is the warm variation of the famous balm of Tiger Balm Brand. It quickly relieves muscle pain. But it also brings relief to itching due to an insect bite. A Tiger Balm product can also be used to relieve tension headaches. This product contains no animal products and is not tested on animals in anyway.
In addition to acting as mild counterirritants, cajuput and clove oils also enhance blood flow by widening the microscopic capillaries in and around muscle tissue, which reduces pain by removing lactic acid from the muscles. With it’s analgesic and mild stimulating properties, the oil of methol, camphor, and cinnamon calms the area.
Side effects
Like all medicines, Tiger Balm can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
- Tiger Balm may occasionally cause irritation to the skin, such as rashes or contact dermatitis. If this occurs, discontinue use and seek medical advice immediately.
- Burns at application site: Not known. (Frequency cannot be estimated from the available data).

Private prescription medicines are sent by courier, tracked 24hr delivery, free of charge (all private prescription items have a minimum order value of £5.00). NHS prescription medicines are sent by courier, tracked 24hr delivery.
Normal delivery charges will apply for non-prescription items in the same basket.
