How it works?
The apple flavoured syrup soothes your little one’s throat and helps relieve discomfort. Soothes dry and tickly coughs for children aged 3 months and over.
What is a cough?
Coughing starts when part of your breathing passage becomes inflamed or irritated.
The cough is simply a reflex to try and remove the irritant and clear the airway. Coughs can either be productive (producing excess mucus or phlegm) or unproductive (producing no mucus or phlegm).
Chesty and mucus coughs are productive, whereas dry and tickly coughs are unproductive.
The Active Ingredient is: Glycerol 0.75 ml
Other Ingredients are: Purified Water, Maltitol Liquid (E965), Citric Acid, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Sodium Citrate and Sodium Benzoate (E211)
The Flavouring is Apple
This product is suitable for most people, but a few people should not use it. If you are in any doubt you should contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not give your child this medicine:
- If s/he is under 3 months old.
- If s/he is allergic to any of the ingredients.
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist:
- If your child has an intolerance to some sugars.
Some of the ingredients can cause problems
This products contains maltitol. If you have been told by your doctor that your child has an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before using this medicine. This should be taken into account in patients with diabetes. Maltitol may have a mild laxative effect. Calorific value 2.3 kcal/g maltitol.
Babies under 3 months
- Do not give to babies under 3 months.
If anyone has taken too much
- If anyone has taken too much of this product, contact a doctor or your nearest Accident and Emergency Department (Casualty), taking this pack with you.
If you forget to give the medicine
- If you forget a dose, give the next dose when needed.
- Do not give a double dose.
This medicine is unlikely to cause side-effects unless your child is allergic to the ingredients.
If your child experiences any side-effects or you are not sure about anything, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
This product is typically dispatched within 1-2 working days from date of order

Standard Delivery
Our standard delivery charge is £3.90. We aim to deliver orders within 3-5 working days to the shipping address provided by you in your order if the shipping address is in the UK. For orders being delivered outside mainland UK, this will be longer and we cannot give a guaranteed delivery time due to the differences between carriers. Delivery timescales are estimates only. If you do not receive your order within 14 days of us confirming your order has been sent you must notify us and we will investigate the non-delivery provided.
Next Day Delivery
£5.99 – Next working day (excluding Saturdays & Sundays) on orders placed before 4pm. Orders placed after 4pm will be delivered on the 2nd working day after the order is placed.
Prescriptions
Private prescription medicines are sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery free of charge (all private prescription items have a minimum order value of £5.00).
NHS prescription medicines are sent by Royal Mail Signed
Normal delivery charges will apply for non-prescription items in the same basket.
Returns
If you’re not completely satisfied with your order, you can return it within 28 days. We cannot accept the return of prescription medicines.
