Bisodol Indigestion Relief Tablets are antacids. They work by neutralizing excess stomach acid. Bisodol Indigestion Relief Tablets treat the pain and discomfort of acid indigestion, heartburn, and trapped wind.
Things you should be aware of before taking this medicine
Do not take Bisodol Indigestion Relief Tablets
- If you are allergic to any of the ingredients of this tablet
- If you have been told the level of phosphate in your blood is low (hypophosphatemia),
- If you have heart or kidney problems.
How to take Bisodol Indigestion Relief Tablets?
- For Adults and Children over 12 years of age: Suck or chew one or two tablets, as required.
- It is not recommended to take this tablets for children below 12 years of age.
- If symptoms persists, please consult your doctor.
If you take more Bisodol Indigestion Relief Tablets than you should: It is unlikely that they will cause you any harm. However, you may experience constipation, diarrhoea or feel bloated. If you encounter any of the mentioned symptoms then consult your doctor or nearest Pharmacist.
If you stop taking Bisodol Indigestion Relief Tablets: If you stop taking Bisodol Indigestion Relief Tablets after you have been taking for the long time, you may suffer a temporary worsening of symptoms. This is called rebound hyperacidity. If these symptoms does not goes away then consult your doctor, for more information regarding this product please consult your doctor or nearest Pharmacist available.
Warnings relating to Bisodol Indigestion Relief Tablets:
- Do not take Bisodol Indigestion Relief Tablets if:
- You are allergic to any of the listed ingredients
- You have been told the level of Phosphate in your blood is low (Hypophosphataemia)
- You have heart or kidney problems
- If you are pregnant, talk to your doctor before taking this medicine. Speak to your doctor before taking this medicine if you are taking Tetracycline antibiotics or iron tablets.
Side effects of Bisodol Indigestion Relief Tablets:
Some patients may experience side effects such as constipation or diarrhoea when taking Bisodol Indigestion Relief Tablets. If an unwanted side effect is severe or lasts for more than a few days, consult your doctor. If you take Bisodol Indigestion Relief Tablets over a long period of time you may suffer a temporary worsening of symptoms when you stop taking the product. This is called rebound hyperacidity. Consult your doctor if this symptom does not go away.
Bisodol Indigestion Relief Tablets contain:
- Each chewable tablet contains: Calcium Carbonate 522mg, Light Magnesium Carbonate 68mg and Sodium Biocarbonate 64mg.
- Also contains: Saccarin, Maize Starch, Sugar, Calcium Stearate and Peppermint Oil flavouring.
