Hana is not recommended for use during pregnancy or if there’s a possibility of pregnancy. While Hana does not seem to impact the production or quality of breast milk, it is considered safe for use during breastfeeding.

 

How to take Hana?

  1. To ensure effective prevention of pregnancy, it is essential to take one pill daily at the same time without skipping, regardless of any menstrual bleeding.
  2. Hana is packaged in 28-pill strips, each labeled with the days of the week for easy tracking.
  3. Take the pill corresponding to the correct day.
  4. If you’re not using other hormonal contraceptives, initiate Hana on the first day of your period for immediate pregnancy protection without requiring additional contraception.
  5. If starting at a different time, use a barrier method (e.g., condom) for the first 7 days of pill use. Adhering to this regimen optimizes the contraceptive effectiveness of Hana.
