Movelat Relief Gel is a mild to moderate anti-inflammatory and analgesic (pain-relieving) preparation that is designed to provide relief from various types of pain when applied to the skin. The gel effectively helps relieve muscular pain and stiffness, sprains and strains, and pain associated with rheumatic and non-serious arthritic conditions.

 

Following the updated GPhC (General Pharmaceutical Council) guidelines, we are required to restrict the amount of Pharmacy Medicines, we dispense to one box per household per month.

Movelat Gel contains the active substances mucopolysaccharide polysulfate (MPS) andsalicylic acid.
Movelat Gel is a mild to moderate anti-inflammatory and analgesic (pain-relieving) preparation which, when applied to the skin, provides relief from muscular pain and stiffness, sprains and strains, and pain due to rheumatic and non-serious arthritic conditions.

Ingredients

What Movelat Relief gel contains

The active substances are:

  • Mucopolysaccharide polysulfate 0.2% w/w.
  • Salicylic acid 2.0% w/w.

The other ingredients are:

  • Isopropyl alcohol
  • Carbomer
  • Monoethanolamine
  • Disodium edetate
  • Rosemary oil (containing citral, eugenol, linalool, citronellol and limonene)
  • Polyethylene glyceryl- oleate
  • Purified water.

Side effects

Like with many kinds of medication, there is a chance of side effects when using this gel. This gel can cause the following side effects:

  • Redness on the skin
  • A burning sensation
  • A rash

If you notice any side effect, stop using the gel and speak to a doctor or pharmacist as soon as possible.

Warnings and precautions 

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Movelat Relief gel:

  • If your signs of injury or illness do not improve or get worse.
  • If you suffer from asthma.
  • If you are pregnant or breast- feeding.
  • If you have pre- existing renal/ kidney damage.
  • If you are using any prescribed medicines.
  • You may experience discomfort if you have sensitive skin, use the cream in hot weather or after a bath.
  • Stop using this gel if you experience irritation or other unwanted effects.

Please note that we do not operate at the weekends. Orders placed after 2pm Friday will not get processed until the following Monday morning.

Next Day Delivery 
Due to COVID-19 we are not currently offering Next Day Delivery as our couriers are not always adhering to the delivery timescales, we will introduce this again in the future.

Prescriptions
Private prescription medicines are sent by courier, tracked 24hr delivery, free of charge (all private prescription items have a minimum order value of £5.00). NHS prescription medicines are sent by courier, tracked 24hr delivery.
Normal delivery charges will apply for non-prescription items in the same basket.
