When you should stop taking this Cough Syrup?
If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before using this medicinal product. It contains 2g of sucrose per 10ml dose. This should be taken into account in patients with diabetes mellitus. It contains 3.3 vol% ethanol (alcohol) which is equivalent to 6.6ml of beer or 2.7ml of wine per 10 ml dose. It is harmful for those who are suffering from alcoholism.
Can I take this cough syrup if I am pregnant or breast-feeding?
If you are Pregnant or Breast-Feeding it is not suitable to take this medicine. Pregnant, Breast-feeding women, children and high-risks groups such as patients with liver disease or epilepsy are prohibited to take this medicine.
Directions for use
This cough syrup should only be taken as directed:
- Shake the bottle before use.
- Adults and children over 14 years : Take two 5ml spoonful (10mls) up to 4 times a day.
- Children aged 10 to 14 years : Take one 5ml spoonful up to 4 times a day.
- If the symptoms persists consult your doctor.
- Do not give to children under 10 years.
- Do not take more medicine than the label tells you yo.
